G & C Series 85 Industrial Off Road Trailers

A trailer totaly designed for 4 wheel drive off-road and rough terrain use.

Specifications


Body

Full rhs frame fitted with 2.3mm checker plate floor, zincanneal body panels and mudguards, square corners fitted to enable racks to be fitted. Two jerry can holders fitted one each side in front of mudguards. Step positions fitted

Each side in front and rear of mudguards to enable easy access to unit. Rope rails fitted all around. Spare tyre mounting bracket is fitted to drawbar. Body is fully sealed. Tailgate is fitted with rubber seal. Tornaue cover and arch bar are included in price. Body panels and mudguards are zincanneal sheet.

Electrical


All wiring is fitted inside chassis and lights are all adr approved and of excellent quality. Seven pin plug fitted.

Suspension


Axle is industrial quality fitted with heavy duty bearings and super seals, suitable for immersion in water, are fitted.

Springs are 45 x 6 x 9 leaf rated at 1.3 tonnes. Springs are fitted with heavy duty fittings and nylon bushes. Pins are all hardened and greasable. Shackle pinheads are captive on shackle plates and front hanger. Double acting hydraulic shock absorbers are fitted to give an extremely good ride on long springs for off road use.

Jockey Wheel


A 6" heavy duty swing up jockey wheel is fitted, with retention holders to hold wheel and handle in an up position.

Finish

All units are fully etch prime painted and finished with enamel. Standard colour is silver grey but other colours are available on request.

GTM

Gtm is finally determined on braking. A non brake version is 750kg and a brake model is 1.3 tonne. Tandem units are all rated at 2000kg without dual line braking. Additional weights are available with dual line braking.

Coupling

The coupling is, on unbraked versions, a quick release 50mm ball. However other couplings such as Tregg off-road ring type coupling may be fitted during production at additional prices.

Brakes

Brakes if requested standard is mechanical over-ride, hydraulic over ride and electric are available.

Sizes

6' x 4' - 7' x 4' - 8' x 4' and 8' x 5'. All are priced with 21" sides. However height of trailer sides can be varied from 18" up to suit your requirements.


Wheels and tyres


All trailers are priced with new Sunrasua 15” six stud rims, 235 R15 tyres. If non standard tyres and special rims are required these will be priced according to your request. Price reductions are made if you supply your own wheels and tyres. Any self-supply tyres and rims must pass RTA requirements.
